It will make it easier to play Xbox games without a console: Microsoft is making available the Xbox TV on Amazon Fire TV devices, giving immediate access to cloud games for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
It’s more or less what you can do with some Samsung TV models, which also offer access to Microsoft console games without a Xbox.
The Xbox TV app is compatible with Fire TV Stick 4K 2023 models and Fire TV Stick Max. Of these, only the first is available in Brazil, but so far, the app cannot be downloaded by the Brazilian public.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers (R $ 49.99 per month) can, with a Fire TV Stick and the app installed, run games directly from TV. Just synchronize a control with the Amazon device, access it with an active internet connection, and enjoy the game.

Xbox line sales are not pleasing Microsoft executives, which has caused a change in the direction of the technology giant game division. Recently, Microsoft has made games available to consoles previously considered rival, such as PlayStation from Sony and Nintendo Switch.
With an installed basis of limited consoles, Microsoft needs to find new ways to bring its games to the general public, especially after spending $ 70 billion on the acquisition of Activivi-Blizzard.
Game streaming is seen as one of the options for the future of the Xbox division. The idea is that by providing cloud games for more devices – regardless of whether or not Microsoft itself – the company can attract more subscribers to Game Pass, thus having the service as an important source of revenue.
