What is the story of Wuthering Waves?
The game develops a narrative that takes place on the continent of Erivale: a land where a catastrophe, entitled to The Lament (“The Lamento”, in free translation) made a curtain of darkness and destruction over the place. In this event, a large part of the population was destroyed while dangerous monsters appeared to establish chaos. Over time, the region also suffered from the constant wars between the resonators and the screaming souls.
After humanity managed to rise before the left land, the world became a true post-apocalyptic scenario. Among the remaining humans, the player incorporates the protagonist of the game, called Rover, whose mission is to restore peace in all this place swallowed by destruction.
