For six years in the market, the game distribution platform, Epic Games Store, owner of Fortine and a direct competitor of the very consolidated Steam, has been standing out for their free weekly games, aggressive promotions and temporary exclusives of large titles. Who can redeem the free Epic Games Store games?
Every Thursday, around 12 noon (Brasília time), Epic Games store selects some games from its platform and releases them for free. Free games are available until the following Thursday, when new free titles are added.
Once you have added the games to your account, they are permanently installed in your library, with no time limit. But beware, you have 7 days to add the game of your interest in your library before it is replaced by another. To access this advantage, you need to register at Epic Games, with email and password.
Games offered for free by store range from known and high quality titles to those less known or indie. Great titles like GTA V, Civilization VI, Metro Exodus have already been on the free games list.
It is noteworthy that after rescuing a free game at Epic Games Store, you need to download the game on your computer so you can play it. When you add the game to your library, it is available to you in the store, but is not automatically downloaded.

- Create or log in to your Epic Games account
If you don’t have an account yet, Click here and create one. Otherwise, just login on the online platform.
- Download Epic Games Launcher
To access the store and the games, you will need the Epic Games Launcher. Download and install the app on your computer. After installation, open the launcher and log in to your account.
- Find the free games
After opening the Epic Game Lancher app, run the mouse down: you’ll find the “Free Games” tab and there will be the games available to download for free.
- Click on the game you want to rescue
Click on the free game title you want to redeem. You will be directed to the game page. In it you click on “get”.
- Confirm the purchase
You will be directed to a page to confirm the gaming rescue. At this stage, you click on “order”.
- Conclude the process
After claiming, the game will be added to your game library at the Epic Games Store.
- Play whenever you want
You can download it to the computer or notebook and play it at any time. Just click on “Install”.
