The official Epic Games store will be an option to download company titles outside the IOS and Android official stores

The company took advantage of the conference to show more how its official store will seem. The idea of Epic Games is to offer users an alternative to download apps and games without having to download you through Apple and Google stores, which often has up to 30% charged to the purchase of software.
Epic Games talks about launching “a true multiplatform store with amazing games for players.”
Of course we can wait in this store titles that are already from the company, such as Fortnite, Rocket League Sideswipe, Rocket Racing and Postparty, but more developers will publish games and applications in the Epic Games itself and are not limited to launching their work only at IOS and Android’s official devices stores.
No need to create a new account for smartphones
- Good news is that Epic Games has already said that the same account used on its PC service can be used in the store that will reach mobile phones.
- It is not known yet, however, if the PC games that the user already has and have mobile version can be installed on the smartphone without a new payment for them.
- There is no confirmed date for the launch of the store, but Epic Games claims that it leaves in 2024.
It is worth remembering, however, that for us here in Brazil, only the version on Android devices can be used, as Apple prohibits downloads on the iPhone that is not from its own store. The only exception for iOS in this case is European territory, where a law forced Apple to release downloads from third parties.
