The beloved superhero family, the Parrs, is set to return with the official announcement of The Incredibles 3 during the Disney Entertainment Showcase on Friday night. This exciting reveal took place at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, a biennial event that celebrates Disney fans.
During the presentation, Pixar’s chief creative officer, Pete Docter, took the stage to commemorate the studio’s 40th anniversary, providing hints about the upcoming film in the acclaimed franchise. Docter shared that the third installment will introduce the Super Hero League, following the legalization of superheroes at the conclusion of the previous movie.
Central to the plot will be the Parr children, with Docter explaining that Violet and Dash are eager to carve out their own identities. “Violet and Dash are determined to step out on their own,” he remarked, adding that the siblings have been sneaking out at night and face the additional challenge of managing their younger brother, Jack-Jack, whose powers are still unpredictable.
Furthermore, the film will feature a new supervillain, setting the stage for an epic showdown against the superhero family. Fans can look forward to experiencing the thrilling dynamics of the Parr family as they navigate their new reality in The Incredibles 3.
