Minecraft is a game created by Swedish programmer Markus “Notch” and initially released to the public in 2009. But in 2011, after several updates, it arrived at version 1.8 and was officially released for PC.   • Mods: anything that changes the content of the game;
  • CREEPERS: This is an expression that refers to characters that appear as hostile creatures in the game and make sibilant sounds followed by explosion when they are close to the player;
  • Biomes: region in a place with different geographical characteristics, creatures, temperatures and other particularities;
  • AFK (Away from keyboard): “Far from the keyboard” in Portuguese, it means that the player is not using the computer. It may be that he is in another tab or not paying attention to the game;
  • DB: Diamond block used as currency in some servers;
  • DUPE / Dupand / Dupando: In the game, you can come across these three expressions. It means duplicating items or objects that were made by duplication.

  • Potions: substances stored in bottles that can conceive special skills to the player;
