10 games with women’s protagonists who should arrive in 2025

There is no denying that in the past, women in video games were mostly completely ignored or poorly written. Fortunately, things are changing in the industry as a whole.

Now the developers are realizing that not only women really play video games, but that the games with female protagonists sell and worth writing about them.

Despite initially neutral marketing in terms of gender – and many women playing important roles in major games, the drop in the game market in 1983 led companies to decide that exclusive boys marketing would be a logical measure.

This turned out to be reflected in the games produced, which usually revolved around male heroes. Also, although it is no longer so unusual that a game has a woman protagonist, there are still much more men men than women.
